Welcome to Crackstone Barns
Crackstone Barns is a ten acre site in the heart of the Cotswolds close to Minchinhampton common with its 600 acres of National Trust land. We have owned the site for 16 years and it has evolved over time as we have tried to sympathetically restore it in local materials. We are now offering accommodation in the converted milk parlour and recently completed Shepherds Hut. The site is also a natural horsemanship centre (www.heartshore-horses.com), and we have recently added a pioneering No-dig vegetable business (https://zerodig.earth/crackstone/).
Crackstone Barns Zerodig
Crackstone Barns is a no dig commercial market garden. It is part of the zerodig network - Zerodig is a system that works in harmony with nature restoring and protecting natural ecosystems and soil structure.
Heartshore Horses
Heartshore is a family-run centre with an aim to facilitate learning and development using a natural and thoughtful approach to people and horses. An Empowered Herd is the foundation to all of Dawn's work at Heartshore which is why she allows her horses to live naturally within a herd, giving them freedom, security, and a sense of place.
